Update for the support panel
This page adds a separate angle from the other projects: it does not repeat the same idea about rainwater collection, but presents a distinct perspective – how a well-designed support panel can transform a simple roof water capture system into a practical and aesthetic element for the household. I analyzed the case of a rural home where the existing gutters were mounted haphazardly, and water was leaking past the barrel. The solution was a support panel made of naturally treated wood, fixed to the house wall, holding the barrel at a suitable height to allow easy filling of buckets and drainage holes. The panel was equipped with a simple hose attachment system, so that water could be directed straight to the flower beds. The result: a functional, leak-free system that visually integrates into the yard and can be built by any homeowner without advanced technical knowledge. This update of the support panel demonstrates that small practical adjustments make the difference in the efficient use of rainwater.
